3. Results: Dust-Free Case

Integration of the dust-free case was carried out for six model days with the initial conditions. As shown in Figure 2, regular diurnal variations are observed for total energy and amplitude of total kinetic energy is almost constant throughout the six days. By day 6, the model atmosphere is considered to be in an energetically equilibrium state. The results obtained for day 6 of the simulation are described in the following subsections.
