This sensor measures the distance to a target. In these experiments, we used a  LB-62 sensor produced by KEYENCE CORPORATION. Resolution is 50 mm.

We set up this at a distance of 5 m from the connection of the track board and the catapult, and measured the slope of the sliding disk.
