Profiles are every 2 hours from 8:00 to 18:00 LT on day 6. The number on each line indicates local time. Figure 12b shows the diurnal variation of the vertical profiles for the horizontal mean turbulent diffusion coefficient below 1 km. The magnitude of the horizontal mean turbulent diffusion coefficient is roughly equal to that of the dust-free case (Figure 3b).
