4.d.ii. Band parameters of CO2

The number of narrow band and its band width for CO2 are similar to those of Savijärvi (1991a). Line strength (cm-1/(gcm-2)-1) and the square root of the product of line strength and line width (g-1) are taken as those at 220 K, which are listed by Houghton (1986) in Appendix 10.

These values are listed in the following tables. The CO2 15 μm band ranges from 500 cm-1 to 900 cm-1 and the 4.3 μm band ranges from 2200 cm-1 to 2450 cm-1, where is equal to 25 cm-1. The CO2 2.7 μm band ranges from 3150 cm-1 to 4100 cm-1 and the 4.0 μm band ranges from 4600 cm-1 to 5400 cm-1, where is equal to 100 cm-1.
